A quality dry red wine from the controlled designation of origin of Baranja Vineyards bottled in 0.75 liter bottles and sealed with a screw cap.
Exposition: Karanačka planina (mountain). All vineyards on that exposition were planted in 2004. Rows are on slopes and oriented North/South at altitude of 140-160 metres. Soil is degraded chernozem on loess with a deep A horizon. Between rows the grass was planted.

Harvest and Growth Cycle of Grapevines
Grapes were harvested from September 20 to 30, 2009. A vegetative cycle of grapevines was characterized with excellent schedule of rains in spring and dry and hot summer which resulted in the exceptional quality of the harvested grapes.
After harvest was done by hand, best grapes were selected. Fermentation together with maceration in Inox fermentation vats lasted for 10 to 12 days, thereafter pressing and continuation of malolactic fermentation in Inox fermentation vats. After blending and selection, the ageing in large barrels and Inox tanks continued for 8 to 12 months.
It can be enjoyed now or kept for 3 years.
Wine has deep ruby colour and it’s of medium density. On the nose it has black fruit, sour cherry and plum and in background there are hints of spicy pepper.
The best is to serve this wine at 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. Matching food includes red meat, mature cheese and Kulen (a local fermented sausage). Alcohol is 15%.
