Harvest and Growth Cycle of Grapevines

Grapes were harvested from September 20 to 30, 2009. A vegetative cycle of grapevines was characterized by the excellent schedule of rains in spring and dry and hot summer which resulted in the extraordinary quality of the harvested grapes.

After harvest was done by hand, best grapes were selected. Fermentation together with maceration in Inox fermentation vats lasted for 8 to 12 days, thereafter pressing and continuation of malolactic fermentation continued in Inox fermentation vats. After blending and selection the ageing in large barrels and Inox vats continued for 8 to 12 months.

It can be enjoyed now or kept for 2 years.
