Top quality dry red wine from the controlled designation of origin of Baranja Vineyards, bottled in 0.75 liter bottles and sealed with a natural cork.
Exposition: Karanačka planina (mountain).All vineyards on that exposition were planted in 2004. Rows are on slopes and oriented North/South at altitude of 140-160 metres. Between rows the grass was planted.

Harvest and Growth Cycle of Grapevines
Grapes were harvested from September 20 to 30, 2009. A vegetative cycle of grapevines was characterized with excellent schedule of rains in spring and dry and hot summer which resulted in the exceptional quality of the harvested grapes.
After harvest was done by hand, best grapes were selected. Fermentation together with maceration in Inox fermentation vats lasted for 12 to 15 days, thereafter pressing and continuation of malolactic fermentation in large Slavonian oak barrels. After blending and selection of the best young wines, the ageing in large barrels continued for 10 to 14 months in large barrels. After the repeated selection of best barrels wine was blended in Inox and kept until bottling.
It can be enjoyed now or kept. The wine shall continue its development in the bottle for minimum 5 years.
Wine has deep ruby colour and it’s dense. On the nose it is a pronounced varietal scent, while in the background there are aromas of vanilla and ripe black fruit and dark chocolate. Wine is fresh, tannic and very savoury. To be served at 16 to 18 degrees Celsius. Matching food includes cold cuts, hot processed meat delicacies from Baranja region as well as various renditions of Kulen (a local fermented sausage).
