Harvest and Growth Cycle of Grapevines

Grapes were harvested from October 10 to 20, 2008. The good viticultural conditions and vegetative cycle of grapevines in 2008 resulted in the excellent quality of the harvested grapes with the pronounced varietal characteristics.

Fermentation together with maceration in Inox fermentation vats lasted for 10 to 14 days, malolactic fermentation in Inox tanks. After blending and selection, the ageing in large barrels and Inox tanks continued for 8 to 12 months.

Wine was aged in Inox tanks and after 3 months of ageing bottled in 0.75 liter bottles and sealed with a natural cork. After bottling the wine was matured for another month.

It can be enjoyed now or kept for 3 years.
