Harvest and Growth Cycle of Grapevines

Grapes were harvested from September 20 to 30, 2010. A vegetative cycle of grapevines was characterized with a lot of rains in spring and dry and long intervals of hot and dry weather in summer. During the harvest time again we had significant amount of rain.

After harvest was done by hand, fermentation together with maceration in Inox fermentation vats lasted for 8 to 12 days, then malolactic fermentation in Inox fermentation tanks. After blending and selection, the ageing in large barrels and Inox tanks continued for 8 to 12 months.

Wine was aged in Inox tanks and after 3 months of ageing bottled in 0.75 liter bottles and sealed with screw cap. After bottling wine was matured for another month.

It can be enjoyed now or kept for 3 years.
