A quality dry white wine of the controlled origin from Baranja vineyard bottled in 0.75 liter bottles and sealed with a screw cap.
Exposition: Begovac, Vračevo, planted in 2007, altitude 210 above sea level on the plateau. Rows are on slopes and oriented North/South. Soil is degraded chernozem on loess with a relatively deep A horizon, protected by forest from the northern winds.
Harvest and Growth Cycle of Grapevines
Grapes were harvested from September 12 to October 1, 2012. A vegetative cycle of grapevines in 2012 was characterized with the relatively warm spring and exceptionally dry and hot summer. I such conditions the optimal number of grape clusters developed of the extraordinary quality.
After harvest was done by hand, grapes were chilled, and whole bunches were pressed. Thereafter maceration of a part of grapes were done with a controlled temperature and fermentation in Inox fermentation vats at 12 degrees Celsius and ageing on the fine deposits of lees (sur lie) for 6 months without malolactic fermentation.
Wine was aged in Inox tanks and after 6 months of ageing bottled in 0.75 liter bottles and sealed with corkscrews.
It can be enjoyed now or kept for 2 years.
The wine is characterized with sparkling greenish colour. It has powerful and complex, intensive aromas resembling fresh apple and citruses, and possesses subtle minerality. The palate is full, rich, harmonious and complex resulting in wine being smooth and easy-going. It is a wine with the character and finesse. To be served chilled at 10 to 12 degrees Celsius. Matching food included various pastas, white meat and fish. Alcohol is 12.5%.
